Jacquard Loom Weaving

The Jacquard loom is the backbone of [tag]Maine Heritage Weavers[/tag], a company consisting of former Bates Fabric employees.

The [tag]Jacquard loom[/tag] is named after its inventor, a Frenchman named J. M. Jacquard.  The Jacquard process involves a never ending belt of cards that are punched with holes arranged to produce a pattern weave.  The products produced by the Jacquard Loom are widely recognized as the best money can buy.
